Artifacts

Relics of Old

Artifacts must always be assigned to models joining the battle. Each player must declare the location of all of their Artifacts before the battle begins during the Deploy Armies step.

Each Artifact adds Crusade Points to an assigned unit as if it was a Battle Honor, when applied to a unit that is not a Fortification. Update Crusade Cards accordingly.

Artifacts may change assigned models during the Command phase if a carrying unit is within Engagement Range of another model, excluding Fortification units.

Artifacts with one-time effects may be used once per battle. If a one-time use Artifact is dropped by a unit, it retains its use status if collected by another unit.

Artifacts may be reassigned to new units between battles for no cost.
